SOVEREIGN ENGAGES INFINITY ENERGY CAPITAL ON ILLINOIS BASIN PROJECT

Infinity Energy Capital LLC (IEC) has been engaged by Sovereign Natural Resources Inc. on an exclusive basis to work with them in the divestiture and/or development of +/- 70,000 acres in the Illinois Basin.The Illinois Basin project represents the work of a number of landmen who have entered into contracts with land owners in Union (+/-22,000 acres), Webster (+/-1,000) counties in Kentucky, and Pike (1,708), Warrick (469), Spencer (2,574), Dubois (16,373), Martin (8,862), Perry (18,387), and Crawford (1,378) counties in Indiana. Accordingly, Sovereign and the land owners are also looking for monetization of the leases, but will consider an appropriate operated drilling proposal.
