Sovereign Natural Resources was recently mentioned on TheDeal.com by Managing Partner, Chuck Watson of Houston based Infinity Energy Capital.

Watson was quoted saying, "We have backed off trying to sell the area for now. We want to bring in an operator to form a drilling proposal as to how the area can be developed. There is a tremendous amount of money on the sidelines competing for production deals, but some of the more exploratory deals -- Illinois included -- are not getting the enthusiastic attention that we would like to see."
